The opening of the Tri-State Sanitarium was a public event that celebrated even then a growing medical community to serve Northwest Louisiana. The quality of the announcement is poor given newsprint's tendency to darken with age and this image was taken from a microfilm scan of the page.  You can however view the document more closely through a PDF below.
